Resulting from an agile analysis of the strategies used by companies that the author identifies as winners, and which would explain the success they have achieved (a non-linear, disruptive, provocative perspective which challenges conventionalisms and the pre-existing rules of play in their industries and exemplary execution), ESADE's Professor Enric Segarra develops and presents a new strategic positioning tool. About Enric Segarra:
Enric Segarra, Lecturer in the Department of Operations Management and Innovation at ESADE Business School since 1996, attained his degree in Business Science and his MBA from ESADE. He also holds a degree in Business Administration from UPC and is certified by Harvard Business School as a learning facilitator, focusing on the case method. He started his professional career as Product Manager in a high street bank (BBVA Group). He then went on to work for Hewlett Packard in the departments of Production, Logistics and Finance, lending support to New Product Development (NPD) and Marketing. He later became Director General of Geraplant Associats, during which time he was also a member of the Governing Board of CORMA SCCL. For over eight years he held the position of Director of the Professional Master's Operations Programme at ESADE, and more recently was Director of Leadership Development Programmes within the Executive Education Unit. He has also taught in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Portugal, Lithuania, Malaysia, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States. He has recently served as Visiting Professor at the Art Centre College of Design in Pasadena (USA), where he worked on applying Design Thinking as an innovation engine.
