Ugo Parodi Giusino is the CEO and the founder of Mosaicoon Inc. one of the most innovative companies in online advertising in Italy.
Born in Palermo, he moves to Bologna and then to Barcelona, to follow his passion for digital video and Internet. He was one of the first to grasp the potential of online video in Italy and in 2006 he founded the Belsito Media Ltd. developing the first web television projects in Italy. He has developed a new particular model of online advertising through the use of viral videos (so exciting to entice users to disclose them). In 2008 an international campaign of the company based in Mondello, is mentioned among the best creative campaigns of the year with giants such as Adidas and Diesel, and in the same year the company was selected to attend the National Innovation Award. In 2009 he has been able to get the first venture capital investment in Sicily and turns the company into a joint stock company, which changed its name to Mosaicoon.
Currently he directly follows some of the most important international brands developing online campaigns in Italy and abroad thanks to a network that now has more than 12 million users.
In the spirit of "ideas worth spreading", TED has created a program called TEDx, of local events, organized independently, that bring people together to share an experience similar to the one you live with TED. The TED Conference provides general guidance for all the TEDx events, but local events are made independently.
