Artur Papyan works as website editor and Internet journalist for Radio Free Europe (RFE) and Radio Liberty (RL) for their service in Armenia. He also freelances as a media and technology consultant and trainer.
Before working for RFE/RL, Papyan was the Armenian country coordinator for the London based Media Diversity Institute and trained journalists and media specialists in professional ethics and balanced media coverage, as well as produced a number of documentary films, radio programs, and newspaper supplements.
He has also worked in the sphere of development assistance as Program Officer at World Vision Armenia's ADP program in Gyumri, and has been engaged in youth activism and leadership development as a board member of the Armenian National Alliance of YMCAs.
