Howard Brodsky is Co-founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of CCA Global Partners, one of the largest privately held companies in the United States. Brodsky is responsible for creating a cooperative retail powerhouse in the marketplace. CCA is comprised of 14 companies with aggregate sales of over $10 billion. CCA companies consist of Carpet One, Flooring America, ProSource Wholesale Flooring. and 12 other companies from biking to lighting with over 3,000 retail locations in the US, Canada and Australia. CCA newest division is CCA for Social Good servicing non-profits and over 600 child care centers.

Brodsky's most recent accomplishment was his induction into the National Cooperative Hall of Fame, established by the National Cooperative Business Association to recognize individuals and companies who make unparalleled contributions in advancement of the principles of cooperation in the United States. One of Brodsky's other notable accomplishments was being inducted into the Entrepreneur of the Year Hall of Fame along with such notable people as Starbucks Howard Schultz and Ted Turner. In addition, Brodsky was the recipient of Retail Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young.

Brodsky is Chairman of the NH Better Business Bureau. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of Southern NH University, the NH Institute of Art, The Palace Theatre, plus many other Boards. He is the founder of the Social Entrepreneur Student Leadership Program for high school and college students which foster social responsibility and community involvement. He is also the recipient of the Blue Chip Enterprise Initiative Award of the US Chamber of Commerce.

For the past five years, he has also been a national judge and chairman of the National Judging Committee for the North American Entrepreneur of the Year Program.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
