Steve St. Pierre is a designer, maker, writer, and purveyor of fine sarcasm bred out of the suburbs of Ottawa, ON. His path took him across Canada, having him working in advertising agencies and design studios in Toronto and Vancouver before heading back home and finding a solid space in the design community in Ottawa. He is the co-founder of the Ottawa Creative Collective, a group of like-minded individuals looking to raise the creative profile of the city, and is currently working as a user experience designer at one of Ottawa's top PR firms.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks

video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently

organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
