Artur Arsenio received his doctoral degree in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston/US in 2004 on robotics and artifical intelligence, and both his MSc and Engineering Degree in Electrical and Computer Science from Instituto Superior Técnico. At MIT he introduced pervasive robotics as technologies to bring robots into people's lifes. His research work was featured in several national and international media. He was a co-organizer of first TEDx event ever in Portugal.
