TSA head John Pistole plays down the threat of body cavity bombs on airlines, arguing that the Agency's new full-body scanners would identify any anomaly outside the body associated with a hidden explosive device. "We're not going to get in the business of doing body cavities," says Pistole. "That's not where we are."

John S. Pistole was sworn in as the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) fifth Administrator in July 2010.
