Amanda Costa é astróloga, terapeuta floral, escritora e professora de literatura. Começou seus estudos de astrologia de forma autodidata em meados dos anos 1970 e entre 1979 e 1981 foi aluna da astróloga Emma de Mascheville. Atua profissionalmente nessa área desde 1981. Como formação acadêmica, tem graduação em Letras, especialização em Teoria Literária, mestrado em Estudos de Literatura/Literatura Brasileira e atualmente faz o doutorado neste curso. Desde 1997 escreve colunas de astrologia para internet, jornais e revistas, entre os quais Portal Terra (no qual também prestou consultoria de conteúdo para construção dos sites Almas Gêmeas e Esotérico), jornal Zero Hora, mantém a página pessoal www.amandacosta.com.br e participa das redes sociais Facebook e Twitter. É autora do livro Astrologia: o cosmos e você, obra que recebeu o Prêmio Açorianos de Literatura de 2004. Publicou também a tradução do inglês do livro Astrologia Chinesa e os cinco elementos, várias edições da Agenda Aquarius de Astrologia e inúmeros poemas em edições independentes estilo "geração mimeógrafo". Segue escrevendo poesia e está preparando os originais para publicação.

Amanda Costa is an astrologer, flower essence therapist, author and professor of literature. She began studying astrology in a self-taught way in the mid-1970s and between 1979 and 1981 she was a student of Emma Mascheville astrologer. She has worked as a professional astrologer since 1981. She has got an undergraduate degree in Literature, specializing in Literary Theory, MA degree in Literary Studies / Brazilian Literature and is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in this area. Since 1997, she has written astrology columns for the Internet, newspapers and magazines, including Terra website (which she also provided content consulting services for building the sites Esoterico and Alma Gêmea), Zero Hora newspaper, and a personal page www.amandacosta.com. br and has participated in social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. She is the author of the book called Astrology: the" Universe and You", which was awarded with Prêmio Açorianos in 2004. She also translated into Portuguguese the English version of the book "Chinese Astrology and the Five Elements", had several editions of the Aquarius Astrology Aquarius and many poems in independent style editions called the "mimeograph generation" published. She goes on writing poetry and is preparing some originals to be published.
