Otherlab is developing novel technologies specifically focused on steering sunlight at extremely low cost through low cost actuators and novel concentrator designs. Otherlab's systems eliminate weight in solar concentration systems and hence capital cost. Otherlab's sunlight steering technologies are agnostic to the end application (PV, solar thermal, industrial heat, etc). They have concentrator technology that makes rooftop concentrated solar a possibility. By design their systems are scalable to utility-scale applications and rapidly scalable to GW of generation.
