Join African Americans For Obama: https://my.barackobama.com/dysonvid
Michael Eric Dyson shares why he supports President Obama:
"On election day in 2008 I was in Grant Park--as a person of color in this nation, as an American citizen, to see Barack Obama ascend to the heights of political power was unprecedented, it was extraordinary, it was moving. For the next generation of African Americans I want to see the sense of promise that Barack Obama represents.
He's brought a sense of hope and change and transformation to American politics. He has inspired so many, he has reached across the aisle, he has worked with people who fundamentally disagree with him--that's the greatness of Barack Obama. That's why I'm in. Barack Obama's success point to that but unless we want to surrender that or forgo what the full promise is we must vote for him again in 2012. Join me in helping him, talk about him write about him, he has done an extraordinary job.
The President: 'Fired up!'
Crowd: 'Fired up!'
The President: 'Ready to go!'
Crowd: 'Ready to go!'
I'm in for Barack Obama in 2012 because he deserves four more years to continue the tremendous trajectory he's given to us so far."
