With a Ph.D. in Media Studies, Self incorporates the latest new media technologies into training, development and communication programs.

Dr. Rebecca Self designs and delivers leadership and communication programs for multinational firms. She has written for newspapers, magazines, Fortune and Global 500 companies and the NBC-tv affiliate in San Diego. Self earned her B.A. at Hampshire College and her M.A. and Ph.D. at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she taught for nearly a decade. She has also been a member of the faculty of the University of Idaho and Franklin College Switzerland. She served as Senior Editor for US West's Center for Digital Culture and was Director of Content Development for Gronstedt Group, one of the world's most cutting-edge corporate training firms. She currently designs and leads global programs for telecommunications, shipping and energy sector firms.
