Syeda Zehra Naqavi was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh (then East Pakistan). It has been a journey, woven with challenges, opportunities and activities that reinforced her sense of creativity and exploration to identify and connect with her feelings and thought processes, her talents and her inner self. It also provided her the texture of life that encouraged in her a desire to experiment with diversity, unity in diversity and to view things as they are or differently, at times with an entirely new vision and perspective. Her love for the performing and visual arts, along with other extra-curricular activities has been an essential element of her personality. She has been a top debater and singer. In singing she has had the privilege of being a part of the Suhail Rana group on Pakistan Television and representing her school in Radio Pakistan programs.

About TEDx

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
