TEDxTU - Naomi Natale -One Million Bones Project February 7, 2012
Naomi Natale is an artist, an activist, and a TED Senior Fellow. Naomi was the founder and director of The Cradle Project, a large scale installation calling attention and raising funds for the 48 million children orphaned in sub-SaharanAfrica. Naomi has served as an artist-in-residence at Columbia College of Chicago in 2008, 2010 and 2011. She is also the founder of the One Million Bones Project, which she discusses in this video.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
