Underwood has served as president of Lakeshore Foundation since 1991. Lakeshore Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides fitness, sports and recreation programs to individuals with physical disabilities to help them live healthier, more active and independent lives. During Underwood's tenure, Lakeshore Foundation has grown to serve more than 3,000 individuals each year; has been designated as an official U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Site; and has implemented comprehensive programs serving our nation's injured military personnel.
