Andrew McGonigle, Volcanologist and Rolex Award for Enterprise Laureate, works on the better prediction of Volcanic eruptions by collecting emission data from Volcanic gasses. To get closer than anyone else to the emissions, he uses remote controlled helicopters with attached measuring equipment. He also collects data to see the impact of Volcanoes on climate change.
