TEDxSechelt - Erica Mah & Darcy McCord - Sargasso Season December 13, 2011

Erica Mah is a Vancouver based songwriter with small town roots and big talent. Born and raised in Smithers, BC, her music takes audiences on an odyssey from farmland and mountains to the depths of urban and industrial landscapes across Canada and beyond.  For TEDxSechelt, Erica performed on the Guzheng, which is a Chinese plucked zither. It has 18-23 strings and movable bridges. She is accompanied by Darcy McCord on the Cello and a surprise guest on nylon stringed guitar.  

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
