Blake Fleischacker walks you through the hallways of a student residence to give you the cure for fear. He uses basic guitar skills as a tool to show you that passion is a powerful tool. Passion is contagious. Through live music and a teddy bear, Blake reminds us all to acknowledge our fears, trust our talents and pursue our passions.

Blake Fleischacker is the author of "Campus Gets Wasted" and host of TEDxUWO. Having lived and worked with over 6000 roommates on university and college campuses, Blake is known as a leading authority on student life and is an in-demand speaker for students and professionals on university and college campuses. Blake burns easily in the sun.

TEDxUWO is the official TEDx conference for The University of Western Ontario in London, Canada.

The theme of this inaugural conference was Own Your Passion. A total of 200 spots were reserved for audience members, while thousands more across the country joined via satellite locations and live video stream.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
