PhiNix Dance Crew aims to promote a stronger hip-hop dance community within our campus and the surrounding
Hyde Park neighborhood. In the past year, we worked to foster an environment where dancers can express and push their creative talents by offering weekly workshops on many different aspects of hip hop dance. In the future we hope to extend these workshops
to local schools as well as host an inter-collegiate competition.

About TEDx, x=independently organize event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-
organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep
discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized
events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event.
The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but
individual TEDx events are self-organized.*
