Matt Venuti shares his time performing as a soloist with the Hang (a musical instrument developed in 2000 in Berne, Switzerland by PANArt Hangbau AG) and with his band, The Venusians. He has learned that the softest touch can yield the most profound effect. He most often performs his "Hang Immersion" concerts in intimate and quiet settings, where the beautiful overtones and rich harmonics can have a mysteriously profound effect on both listener and player.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
