배 장환은 여행작가이며 방송인 입니다. 영화배우를 꿈꾸던 그는 정우성과 같은 슈퍼스타가 되고 싶은 마음에 압구정동 카페에서 아르바이트를 하며 길거리 캐스팅이 되기를 기다렸습니다. 군대를 다녀와서는 개과천선의 자세로 중국 베이징으로 유학을 떠나 작가의 꿈을 꾸었습니다. 그러던 어느 날, 동생으로 부터 세계일주를 하자는 제의를 받았고, 그 동안 갈고 닦았던 끼를 폭발, 동생과 함께 세계일주를 떠났습니다. 그리고 세계명소에서 쫄쫄이 쇼트트랙복을 입고 춤을 추었고, 시를 쓰고, 그림을 그리고 글을 썼습니다. 자칭 자유인, 배장환은 앞으로도 늘 여행같은 삶을 살기 원하며 남은 평생을 작가로, 토크쇼 진행자로, 카페 사장으로 살아가기를 원하고 있습니다. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
