How can we create a society that's addicted to health?
Discerning how people eat -- which is all different based on culture and generation of habit -- is hard to figure out how to best tweak to improve or enable better long term health. By deconstructing all of our cultural dietary habits and reconstruct a new play book, Dondeena shows a way where new foundations are set, behaviors changed, and overall health is improved.

Dondeena Bradley, Ph.D., is Vice President, Global Design and Development, Nutrition Ventures for PepsiCo. She is responsible for designing new solutions that target special nutritional needs of consumers with diverse health issues, such as obesity and diabetes. Dondeena's prior role at PepsiCo was leading the nutrition organization responsible for delivering global strategies for nutrition standards, nutrient fortification, and education programs.

About TEDx.
TEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading." The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level.

At TEDx events, a screening of TEDTalks videos -- or a combination of live presenters and TEDTalks videos -- sparks deep conversation and connections. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis.
