About the Sparky Project:
The name Sparky is based on an acronym for "Self Portrait Artifact --Roving Chassis I" - an art project started in 1994. Since that time Sparky has evolved from an oversized RC toy with a few of "baby monitor" video cameras into a fully web-enabled telepresence robot. There have been many different versions over the years, using a wide range of technologies and solutions, but always with the same goal -- to provide a mobile videochat platform. The current version, called iSparky is still in the prototype stage. It utilizes an iPad 2, an iRobot Create chassis, Apple Facetime software and the Sparky Control App. It can be operated from anywhere in the world by any FaceTime-enabled Macintosh

Marque's Bio:
As a artist, futurist and inventor, Marque has appeared on numerous TV programs including Modern Marvels and Monster Nation and was even slated to host his own series on Discovery Channel's Planet Green network. Marque's award-winning art and short films have been exhibited at the SFMoMA, San Jose Tech Museum, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and at galleries throughout the US. Marque is currently producing and hosting Guns 'n Gardens, the #1 zombie survival video series on the web
