The Brother Moves On evokes the spirit of the artist as a mediator between the real, the surreal and the "keeping-it-real" worlds that make life worthy of its own breath. Their music is an eclectic fusion of sounds that could be loosely classified as World Music, is distinctly South African, with its soul etched in the crevice of traditional, shamanic sounds that resurrect and resuscitate the ancestral spirit of the artist, long-gone and yet-to-be-born, while it also steps up to the soundtrack that is today. In Zulu the music can be summed up in one word: UBUNGOMA.
