The TEDxPalermo Talk by Andrea Genovese was held in the morning of April30th. The location was changed at the very last minute with the studio427, due to bad weather.
Andrea Genovese is a computer engineer specialized in digital marketing and web communication. He works for big and medium enterprises in order to improve online business communication as marketing and PR by means of social network, online community platforms and other new technologies typical of web world and telephone market. He has a long experience in the web field. For 20 years he has used new media and both web and mobile technologies to create digital relationships for enterprises, organizations and people. Andrea speaks (Marketing Forum, Digital Communication Forum, Innovation Lab. etc..), communicates through a blog (www.7thfloor.it), writes articles (Nova24) and lectures on Social Media Marketing at IULM University( member of Faculty Masters Social Media Marketing & Web Communication) and Crossmedia design at Domus Academy. Andrea is also founder of "7thFLOOR", a magazine about business and the social impact of key technologies and the new trends in communication means. Andrea has founded a new media society, Map Cross Communication S.r.l. He worked for Alcatel, Andersen Consulting, European Commission , Edison, Enel, Telecom Italia, Telethon, TIM, Treccani, RAI.
In the spirit of "ideas worth spreading", TED has created a program called TEDx, of local events, organized independently, that bring people together to share an experience similar to the one you live with TED. The TED Conference provides general guidance for all the TEDx events, but local events are made independently.
