Ruben Bettencourt, born in 1988, in Angra do Heroísmo (Azores, Portugal). He began his musical studies at age 6, initially taking individual lessons and later on, enrolling in a local music school. He was evaluated 19/20 because of his Classical Guitar abilities. Besides public presentations organized by his school, Ruben also played for the public in Portugal, Italy, Germany, Poland, Spain, Netherlands and Serbia. In 2009, Ruben graduated from the University of Aveiro in Music, and again he was evaluated 19/20 in Classical Guitar. In 2009 he began his Masters in Music at the prestigious Maastricht Conservatorium, Netherlands. He has already received numerous awards in different competitions Europe wide.
At TEDxAveiro Ruben will bring amazing moments with his classical guitar. An amazing international career is waiting for him!
