Stijn is a Belgian artist who makes cool, electronic, funky music full of references to other influences. He does not use a laptop but plays a nice collection of various old synthesizers. He has an incredible live reputation and is often referred to as the Flemish Prince. Velvety pop in the Antwerp Opera.
Why listen to him?
Stijn himself describes his work as 'cold dance music with a soul'. His songs are dominated by firmly thumping drum machines and creaky, old, analog synthesizers. Stijn is a one-man act and his lyrics combine many different languages with great creative skill. Stijn is a real entertainer who manages to turn each performance into a great party!
