Neal Sales-Griffin is the founder and CEO of Code Academy. Code Academy is an organization that teaches students new to software development how to build web applications in 12 weeks. At the same time, Code Academy shares its network of entrepreneurs and investor to help students bring their own ideas to life. Today Neal Sales-Griffin talks to us about his entrepreneurial journey and provides some tips on how others can begin their own.

Think about a time where you were doing what some may consider "work" but for you, it was fun; you enjoyed it so much that you kept doing it, and found ways to keep it interesting over time. Entrepreneurship provides many people with the greatest flexibility to discover meaningful work. People who care about and enjoy what they do find ways to survive and continue their work. So don't underestimate how much you are supposed to like what you do, because you're supposed to love it, and you can. This session shines some light on how to begin that journey.

About TEDx
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organised events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organised TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organised.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
