HipHopHuis is a place where dancers, DJs and beat makers develop their skills in hip hop. But that"s not all. HipHophuis is more than just a studio where young people can pop, beatcreat, Bboy or ladyhop. HipHophuis leads the way by providing more then 400 young people from Rotterdam a lively meeting place where they can meet kindred spirits and find their way into hip hop.
On TEDxRotterdam, HipHopHuis is accompanied by the vocals of mezzo-soprano Rosanne van Sandwijk. She leads the way by making interesting crossovers between opera and popular art forms, trying to win the hearts and minds of more than just the regular opera lovers.
Together they will be the opening act on TEDxRotterdam. In a spectacular performance choreographed by Lloyd Marengo, opera, pop, modern dance and break-dance will take you on a dazzling musical journey.
