Virtual Museums allows more visitors to experience and learn from the stories around the objects in the museums. Virtual Museums allows future visitors to see time capsules of current exhibitions and have a better understaning of our time. It allows people to visit the museum regardless if they are physically or distance wise able to come in person. Virtual Museums allow users content to be part of the experience and share the their perception of what they experience.

Vrouw Maria Maritime Museum, opened 2009 was the worlds first walkable Virtual Maritime Museum on Internet.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
