A freelance photojournalist and teacher, Soluy believes that to create real change, you have to teach people 'how to fish'. She uses photography as a medium for teaching people about self-sustainability and to help them identify their own talents and interests.

TEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading." The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level.
