TEDxNHH - Simon Høgsberg - The art of not knowing December 8, 2011
In this TEDx-talk Simon talks about a photo project he began 2 years ago. In the course of 148 days he has taken 110.000 portraits of pedestrians in front of a supermarket in Copenhagen, but he still doesn't know what the project is about. On the stage Simon discusses how drawing conclusions too early can kill a project, and how embracing the unknown is our only chance to truly create something new.
About TEDx:
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
