As an arctic explorer Marc Cornelissen will take us on a journey of the mind by using his personal traveling experiences in the planet's polar regions to illustrate how climate change impacts the eco-system, native population and the global climate system. Through the use of storytelling and exciting videos he will give us insight into the world of an explorer who works in a potentially dangerous and ever changing environment.

Our event is called TEDxUtrechtUniversity, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxUtrechtUniversity event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
