Print transcriptThis is the final battle. On this day, Greece will be revenged, or Asia will be ours, its riches in our hands and all our labors ended. This then is the plan of battle. We are outnumbered in everything save courage and discipline. But the Macedonian army is such that even if I, Alexander, would fall in battle only one man would be lost. The Persian, such that if the head is cut off the rest of its body dies with it. Therefore Macedonians, hold and wait. Hold and wait. Then when we charge, have but one thought: "Kill Darius, kill Darius, kill Darius."
